What in the roleplaying world!?

    Anything goes games?
These are excellent in theory but they tend to lose wind swiftly. The exciting things get done and then you're left with nothing but filler. I spent weeks on a game that was killing me and finally I just had to pull the plug. I knew that my writing partner was enjoying it, he posted immediately back to me. I hated having to pull the plug, for that reason, but feel much better for doing it. Looking over my games, I'm really sad to see the number of games that I'm taking off my bookmarks. I've held on, hoping that the people would find their way back to Elliquiy and though I know that they're busy or in school. I know they've got shit going on and I respect that. It's just sad when the characters have such strong voices and I just stare at them. So…I made sure they were in my notifications and then took them off my bookmarks. I'll check them in a week and then in a week after. I do have a lot of games but I hold out on the ones that I really adore. Not naming names. *sniffles* One of the players that I write with, Red Tressed Imp, damn her. Just…damn her!!! *laughs* She's such an amazing writer and now I see what others have told me, that my writing affects their conscience because my characters are so strong. She's the same way. We've got a really extreme game and my character is having such trouble torturing hers because I'm affected by her posts. Damn her! Get that, girl!? I love you but your posts rock too much! Anyway. I've got a few great games going on and a few that I wish that I could drop because I'm not truly enjoying them. I keep holding on because I know that the person on the other end has feelings and is obviously enjoying what we're doing.
    The word member.
Oh fucking please! It's a cock! A COCK! Not a 'member'. It kills my sexy muse every time. *shudders* There's nothing worse than being in a steamy game where juices are flowing and pheromones are in the air and then…dun dun dunnnn… that word pops up. My mental boner deflates and I mark it as unread for a few hours or till the next day. Can't deal. I understand that there are women that love the pretty, prosy words but the first guy to call my character's pussy a flower will wait three days on a post while I stop laughing.

Comments

*laughs* Found this particular blog by accident, but enjoyed this particular post specifically. I haven't done text role playing in a while, but enjoyed it when I did. I guess I just liked writing without worrying about making it into some kind of book. Anyway, I thought I'd at least thank you for the good laugh. I always thought it was weird using "member"...took all the dirtiness out of it, you know?

Haha! Well, I'm glad that you enjoyed it and I'm very happy that i made you laugh. I appreciate you taking the time to comment, thank you. <3 I can stand the word member now and then, but yes, it does take all the dirtiness out, all the sexy stuff that gets the writers worked up. *grins* It ruins it. Maybe you should get back into writing if you enjoyed it so much? *hugs and kisses*

Hmm, flower... It's the anime pixellated genitalia of prose isn't it? Mind you, where I'm from the correct form of address for an elected politician is "The Member for Citysville" which produces it's own mental images ;)

Oh and hello! By the way

Hahaha! Hi, Aleph! Those are some very nice mental images. *snickers* Is it true, then, that all politicians are dicks?
